Most games nowadays have the quick install feature, generally taking an hour long but you get to play at the very least the first part of the game within 15 mins or so while the rest downloads in the background. By all accounts, Spider-Man doesn't have this feature and you gotta install the whole thing in one sitting. This is my first PS4 game (bought the Spiderman bundle) and I was so disappointed when I found out I had the disc and still had to install the game lol. ~50 minutes though. My online pre download took around 50 minutes, so from a disc it should be a lot quicker. Like the other guy said, around mins I’d say. Spider-Man is finally out on PS4 and people are eager to get home, chuck that disc into their console and get playing, but Insomniac had other ideas. All over my socials this morning is gamers frustrated with the lengthy install time that seems to be taking place when playing the game from disc.
